Mr. Singer is the Award-Winning Lighting Designer and visionary force behind Robert Singer and Associates. Since 1981, Mr. Singer has utilized his expertise and creativity to produce remarkable spaces for exclusive, high-end commercial, hospitality, entertainment, and residential projects, designing interior and exterior spaces alike. Mr. Singer has been featured in multiple publications and has served as adjunct Professor of Lighting Design at the world-renowned Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Winner of the prestigious Richard Kelly Grant for Lighting Design, Mr. Singer has also won numerous other National and International Awards such as IES Awards of Merit, IALD Illumination Awards, Brilliance Awards, and Source Awards. Mr. Singer is a leading member of the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) as well as a Corporate Member of Illumination Engineering Society (IES). Robert Singer has been an authority in the residential lighting design field, educating peers and collaborators on the importance of lighting and the proper execution of lighting design concepts. His years of dedication and leadership earned him the Mountain Living Legacy Award in 2019 for contributions to residential design.

Chase has been with RSA Lighting since 2007 after graduating with an emphasis in Illumination Engineering from the University of Colorado’s Architectural Engineering program in 2006. Chase is a creative problem solver, meeting challenges of energy needs, building systems, functionality, and aesthetics of lighting. Chase’s talents have earned him a number of awards throughout his career including IES Awards of Merit and Source Awards. A Professional member of IALD since 2018, Chase is a leading project manager and senior lighting designer at RSA Lighting. Chase excels at managing all elements of the project from design conception to final completion, working on high-end residential, retail, commercial and hospitality projects out of the Basalt, Colorado office.

Jason comes from a theatrical design background and has been with RSA Lighting since 2007. He received his Masters of Fine Arts in Theatrical Design with an emphasis in lighting from University of South Carolina in 2007 as well as a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Technical Theater from University of Wyoming in 2003. Jason has been a Professional member of IALD since 2018. As a senior lighting designer, he has received multiple awards in his professional career, including IES Award of Merits, Source Awards, and Brilliance Awards. Jason’s projects range from high-end residences to luxury commercial and hospitality projects throughout the U.S. A pioneer in the Arizona market, Jason manages projects out of our Paradise Valley, Arizona office.

Josh received his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a Mathematics Minor from Southern Illinois University in 2018. Following his college graduation Josh began his career with RSA Lighting using his engineering and artistic background as a foundation to learn the intricacies of lighting design, from fixture testing to concept detailing. An IALD Junior Associate, Josh is working on projects from coast to coast out of our Basalt, Colorado office. Josh brings enthusiasm to his work combining architectural finesse and engineering rigor to take a project from design through programming and final focus.

Kim graduated from the University of Colorado’s Architectural Engineering program, with a Lighting emphasis in 2002. She has been working with RSA Lighting since 2005, earning a LEED AP certification in 2008 and becoming a Professional member of IALD in 2017. Kim’s talents have earned her multiple awards including IES Award of Merits, Source Awards, and Brilliance Awards. Kim is a senior project manager and lighting designer in the Basalt, Colorado office, who welcomes the opportunities to use lighting to positively enhance the built environment. She pays particular attention to sustainability and environmental responsibility while working on projects in residential, hospitality and commercial industries.

Stephen has been with RSA Lighting since 2022. He has a background in theatrical and entertainment lighting, receiving his Bachelors of Fine Arts in Theatre Design/Technology with an emphasis in Lighting Design from Emerson College in 2016. Prior to joining RSA, he had experience in hospitality lighting – primarily hotels, restaurants and cruise ships. Stephen works on projects nationally out of the San Diego, California office.
